Technical Analyst (Night Shift)
Norcross, GA | Contract
This is a third shift opening from 10: 30 PM – 7: 00 AM (Sunday evening-Friday morning).
Our customer in the Norcross, GA area is currently looking for a Network Analyst to join their team on a long term contract to hire basis.
The Support Analyst requires excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills. The Support Analyst ensures customer satisfaction, quality of service, and timeliness of delivery. Also, performs project management, technical support, remote troubleshooting, and problem resolution functions.
The Support Analyst is a member of the team providing 24 x 7 support for break-fix service as well as moves, adds and changes for all structured cabling, voice and data, security technologies. This includes voice terminals, workstations, point of sale, audio-visual equipment, public display devices, associated cabling and patching, and various other equipment.
• Service clients over the telephone, working with their representatives to resolve problems and/or concerns.
• Assure customer satisfaction and quality assurance by customer contact and other means.
• Work with technicians over the telephone to resolve problems.
• Update customer records.
• Maintain CRM
• Complete all documentation (recordkeeping) in an accurate and timely manner.
• Follow up and follow through to assure job completion and customer satisfaction.
Additional Responsibilities Include:
• Support of the Web Store
• Technical documentation development when required or as needed.
Must have proven troubleshooting abilities along with good interpersonal communication skills; familiar with Microsoft software & operating systems and good keyboarding skills; must have excellent telephone and customer service skills as well as project management abilities.
Must be knowledgeable in one or more of the following areas and willing to learn other technologies as business needs direct.
Structured Cabling, Premise and Horizontal Wiring.
Retail: Point of Sale, Loss Prevention, CCTV, Kiosks, RFID, Wireless Access Points Systems, Digital Signage.
Data: LAN/WAN/WAP, Windows, network servers, TCP/IP, staging and configuration, ANSI/TIA/EIA, 568B; fiber optics, CAT5e, routers and switches, MDF, IDF.
Security: DMP, Bosch, and/or Radionics device installation and troubleshooting.
Hoot and Holler, Speech Privacy, Paging, and other technologies.
This includes installation; break-fix; moves, adds and changes; upgrades; relocations; staging and configuration; and project management.
