o Document and deliver test strategies, plans, processes and standards
o Responsible for the planning, analysis, design and execution of the testing effort, including defect management in Automation.
o Contribute in the design, development, documentation, analysis and testing of assigned projects.
o Work with Agile team members to analyze project requirements with the goal of increasing automated testability and decreasing risk.
o Work as part of the team to develop processes for effective monitoring and reporting of automation test cycle results.
o Communicate and support all project-related information in a timely and professional manner as dictated by team need and testing processes.
o Investigate, reproduce, log and escalate reported defects.
o Outline and develop automation test framework
o Develop automation test solutions for others to follow.
o Participate in ongoing collaborative development, improvement, implementation and adoption of automation test solutions, test data and test result reporting.
o Create, document, maintain, extend and execute automation test coverage in close coordination with developers and other QA team members.
o Collaborate with the integration of test automation in software build and deployment processes.
o Developing and continually refining the test plans, processes and standards, covering functional and non functional testing.
o Review the architecture and designs of systems and features, and actively engage with Business Analysts and Developers to ensure the soundness of proposed solutions.
o Review and revise acceptance criteria to guarantee they are fit for purpose once fulfilled.
o Create and maintain configuration notes for the testing environments, both functional and non functional (e.G. Performance testing) environments.
o Bachelor’ s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
o ISTQB Foundation Certificate.
o Software development experience of at least 3 years working with agile software methodologies.
o Working experience designing, writing, and executing automated test cases.
o Working experience performing Quality Assurance activities is a plus.
o Highly motivated with good verbal and written communication, presentation and problem-solving skills.
o Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skills. Strives to learn new skills.
