TRC Professional Solutions is working with our growing medical device manufacturer customer in Alpharetta, GA, who has an immediate opening for a Project Engineer to work as a permanent employee under their Project Manager.

PROJECT ENGINEER

Responsibilities:
• Design and implement manufacturing systems
• Analyze existing equipment and manufacturing processes and offer continuous improvement conceptual planning and implementation activities
• Implement new technologies and manufacturing processes, including the design and/or specification of equipment, jigs and fixtures to expand manufacturing capabilities
• Research and implement materials, processes, and equipment for new product introductions
• Timely creation and approval of production/engineering/quality documentation within the company's Quality System
• Identify and mitigate project risks
• Analyze existing equipment/processes and develop/implement/sustain continuous improvement plans
• Establish working relationships with cross-functional team to facilitate coordination and execution of project work
• Troubleshoot existing production requests and assist with the R&D efforts of the company and OEM products
• Interface with multiple disciplines internally, suppliers, and customers
• Adhere to and ensure compliance with Quality System SOPs, work instructions, drawings, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), ISO, and FDA requirements

Requirements:
• BS degree in Engineering (or related discipline) or education/experience equivalency
• 5+ years of related engineering experience, medical device or FDA regulated industry experience preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing resources and timelines
• Strong knowledge of product life cycle processes/protocols
