NETWORK AND USER SUPPORT
SUMMARY OF POSITION
1 Ensure that systems are available to the users and are operating efficiently.
2 Provide first line of support for user questions and problems.
3 Troubleshoot hardware and software problems and assist users.
4 Provide operational and administrative service to the organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
1 Provide support to users and operational assistance.
2 Ensure that system backups are completed and are reliable.
3 Manage inventory of supplies and forms.
4 Exercise good judgment in dealing with user problems, and in scheduling jobs.
5 Assist and provide instruction to users in performance of their duty as required.
6 Provide recommendations to enhance efficiencies and overall business.
7 Stay ahead of IS innovations and technologies through associations, magazines, periodicals etc..
8 Troubleshoot hardware and software problems.
9 Other Duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
1 DEPARTMENTAL: Accountable to the IT Manager for fulfillment of their function, responsibility, and authority
2 OTHER DEPARTMENTS: Works with other members as required to fulfill position.
3 OUTSIDE COMPANY: Utilizes user groups and trade sources to support the organization.
ESSENTIAL JOB SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE
1 EDUCATION: Associate degree related to Information Systems or equivalent, with 1-3 years experience.
2 EXPERIENCE: High energy level, comfortable balancing multiple tasks & projects in conjunction with normal ac
3 SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE: Knowledge of systems and procedures as they pertain to a related industry.
4 OTHER: Flexibility in work schedule in order to maximize systems availability to users.
