Job Description:
Our client is looking for a dynamic HR professional to join the Corporate HR team. This Human Resources Manager will be responsible for leading and administering a variety of HR activities including recruiting and staffing, payroll administration, employee relations and engagement, performance management, training and development, and benefits.

Major Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Lead the delivery of HR processes and services to meet best practice standards
Conduct and coordinate full cycle recruitment efforts for exempt/non-exempt employees (including posting and managing requisitions, screening candidates, pre-employment testing, interviewing, preparing offer letters, background and drug screenings, I-9 verification, new hire orientation, and securing contract labor)
Provide HR guidance and support on employee relations, performance management, progressive discipline, performance improvement plans, and interpretation of policies and procedures
Build partnerships with business leaders to foster a high performing culture that emphasizes quality, productivity, service, diversity and collaboration
Ensures consistent application of company policies/procedures and compliance with all federal and state laws regulating the employment relationship as well as company expectations
Participate in the off-boarding process (separations, exit interviews, unemployment claims)
Administration of payroll processing (changes, corrections, audits and reporting)
Maintain and update employee data in HRIS
Track and provide monthly HR reporting
Coordinate and participate in Employee Engagement and Community Relations events
Respond timely and accurate responses to employee inquiries
Provide superior customer service to internal and external business partners
Conduct effective employee training
Support benefits administration by conducting benefits orientation, responding to benefits questions and assisting with the annual enrollment process
Support and highlight safety initiatives
Performs other duties/ tasks as determined by the Director

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
HR certification preferred
3-5 years HR Management experience
Strong leadership and relationship building skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Detailed oriented; ability to multi-task effectively
Excellent presentation skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Peoplesoft(HR) and Kronos experience strongly preferred
Conflict Management skills
Self-starter with excellent follow up skills
Team Player with positive attitude
Proficient in Microsoft Products (Excel, PowerPoint)
