Job Description

Our top client in Atlanta is seeking to add to their Supply-chain Finance division. They are looking fore a self starter to continue to help the team bring value to their organization though their collective efforts.

Lead the inventory audit process for all Supply Chain warehouses and ensure warehouses are compliant with corporate financial accounting policies
Manage the inventory audit process with internal and external audit
Manage the domestic forklift payables process
Review contracts for commitment and contingency disclosure purposes
Ensure the domestic freight accrual is posted timely and accurately
Develop processes to streamline the accounting for warehousing expense and balance sheet management
Support Demand Planning in developing a monthly inventory outlook
Work with International business units in managing inventory targets
Assist and manage the Supply Chain P&L and Balance Sheet during monthly close
Effectively communicate with commercial business units regarding inventory and expense variances vs targets
Provide regular council and mentorship to analysts on the team
Supervise 1-2 analysts directly or indirectly
Provide support to the Supply Chain Analytics group, Corporate Accounting, and Business Unit Finance teams as needed
Ad hoc project leadership and support

Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance
Advanced proficiency in MS Office, primarily Excel, PowerPoint & Access
5+ yrs. of related finance experience
Effective project management skills (planning, decision-making, prioritizing, timely completion )
Must be creative, resourceful, organized & able to work well independently & as part of a team
Superior written & verbal communication skills
Work involves confidential & sensitive information. Discretion is essential

Manufacturing experience
Hyperion or TM1 knowledge
Experience / exposure with spend analytics
Experience BI / BW or similar reporting tools
SAP experience including Financial Transactions
