Land Development Project Manager
Our customer is seeking a candidate that is an experienced, self-starting, energetic, and innovative Project Manager to join their dynamic Land Development Division in their growing Tampa, Florida area location. This candidate will ideally have 6-10 years of Project Management experience in Florida. They will be doing 70% production work. They should have residential and/or commercial experience. This person will work hand-in-hand with senior leadership to serve their current clients, develop new business, contribute to company initiatives, and develop in-house staff. This position will report to the Practice Area Leader.
Education: Bachelor’ s degree in Civil Engineering (or related degree)
Qualifications: Florida Professional Engineer (PE) Licensure. Minimum of ten years of engineering experience within the consulting engineering and civil design industry. Proven relationships and experience in both the private and public market sectors for Land Development. Familiar with local, state, and federal permitting agencies for Land Development projects in Florida.
Responsibilities: Prepares plans and specifications for land development projects. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within the industry. Manages, organizes, and oversees civil designs and details to produce a complete set of drawings. Researches and writes reports/opinions, including due diligence investigations and code studies. Utilizes various engineering related computer software including AutoCAD. Writes proposals, responses to RFP's and RFQ's, and coordinates NTP of civil projects. Oversees and manages a team of technicians, analysts, and professionals for civil projects. Completes project accounting responsibilities. Oversees quality of the services delivered to our clients. Mentors, trains, and oversees entry level staff with technical and professional development. Manages existing client relationships while contributing to new client business development efforts.
