Business Intelligence Analyst - Finance

Our customer is currently seeing a Business Intelligence Analyst to join thier team. This position will support Business Intelligence ecosystem, with an emphasis on Oracle BI (OBIEE) and Sisense.
• Bachelor’s degree in CS / IS or related field or equivalent experience
• Advanced degree or BI related certifications a plus
• 5+ years’ BI experience with emphasis on Oracle BI
• Hands-on / technical experience with SQL
Skills & Qualifications:
• Experience with implementing, configuring, managing or supporting Modern BI software
• Strong foundation in data architecture and general software development
• Comprehensive knowledge of BI practices and ability to map processes to application functionality
• Experience with data modeling, transformation, mining and reporting tools
• Experience developing dashboards and scorecards
• Understanding of data and context appropriate visualizations and visualization techniques
• Experience with integration of 3rd party BI software and interfaces
• Experience with multiple data source modeling and integration (JDE, Salesforce, CPM, etc…)
• Experience with .NET, JavaScript, Python a plus
• Exposure to predictive analytics, AI, ML techniques and technology in a BI context
• Proven ability to design and implement BI solutions in a diverse, complex organization
• Leadership & management experience a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong project management skills
• Experience working with other groups to leverage systems to deliver solutions
• Ability to both work as part of a cross functional team and independently following established project plans and project management procedures.
• Ability to manage third party business partners from project design through completion
• Ability to handle multiple commitments and plan assignments to meet deadlines
• Up to 15% Travel
Key Responsibilities Include:
• Trouble-shoot BI platform and data warehouse(s) performance, configuration, transformation issues. Track issues and implement root cause resolutions.
• Monitor, maintain and administer BI infrastructure
• Manage third party software and hosting relationship
• Gather business requirements and work with Finance Technology group to execute BI software development including research, analysis, design, documentation, testing and implementation
• Coordinate BI jobs and tasks in Enterprise scheduler
• Support Corporate Performance Management (CPM) and Reporting applications
• Train users on BI applications and tools
