Our client located in North Atlanta is seeking an HR Manager on a permanent basis. This position is responsible for human resources activities including, but not limited to employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, compliance with local and legal requirements/laws, and employee services.

  • Lead recruiting of personnel for all positions and support managers with talent development and succession plans

  • Maintain electronic records of all personnel related documents including onboarding, continuing

  • Have continuous knowledge and advise management of labor market developments while maintaining relationships with external partners to have maximum visibility of the talent pool

  • Responsible for safety and health program within the Atlanta and Detroit facilities including OSHA compliance initiatives

  • Manage benefits, 401k, payroll and all personnel records and requirements while collecting and updating all employee data for accurate processing

  • Provide coaching, conflict management and counseling regarding employee relations and employee supervision related topics

  • Participate in and make recommendations on disciplinary processes

  • Annually review employee benefit package market competitiveness, features, benefits and alignment with company objectives. Update benefit package when needed

  • Measure overall employee satisfaction (through surveys, employee meetings, exit interviews, informal feedback, participation in company events) and make recommendations for improvement

Educational/Skill requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on Human Resources

  • Professional experience for at least 3 years in Human Resources

  • Manufacturing/distribution environment NEEDED

  • Strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously / good time management and organizational skills

  • Proficient in ADP Payroll and HRIS system

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Word PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Must be able to travel at least one week per month to Michigan

  • Ability to travel globally as needed
